Prestige Assurance Plc Announces Board Changes Following Board Meeting

Prestige Assurance Plc has informed the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public about a Board of Directors meeting that took place yesterday, January 28, 2026, at the company’s registered office in Victoria Island, Lagos.

At the meeting, the Board considered and approved key resolutions, including the acceptance of the resignation of Mrs Smita Srivastava as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

The resignation takes effect from December 31, 2025.

Also, Nairaconomy learned that the board approved the Company’s Unaudited Financial Statements for the 4th Quarter ended 31st December 2025 (Q4 2025 UFS). The accounts will be filed with the NGX on or before 30th January 202

Srivastava holds a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science and is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India.

She has worked in several organisations in various capacities in Health Insurance TPA of India Ltd, The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd, and The New India Assurance Company Limited, Mumbai.

She is an accomplished Insurer and Administrator with over 35 years of experience across diverse company functions.

She worked in various capacities, and her services spanned the health insurance, administrative, HRM, and Corporate Communication functions.

Previously, she served as a General Manager and Director at the New India Assurance Company Limited.

Mrs Smita Srivastava was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company on 26th July 2023.

The Company noted that the Board formally ratified the decision in line with its corporate governance framework and relevant regulatory requirements.
