The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in partnership with King-Fahji Nig. Ltd, has successfully concluded a 5-day intensive training on Quality Auditing and ISO 9001:2015 Certification for 50 participants in Kaduna State.
The program, which ran from 27th to 31st July 2026, was designed to build indigenous capacity in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and equip Nigerian professionals with globally recognized skills in ISO 9001:2015 implementation, internal auditing, and continual improvement.
Participants were taken through all core clauses of ISO 9001:2015, including Leadership, Planning, Support, Operation, Performance Evaluation, and Improvement.
The curriculum also covered risk-based thinking, process approach, documentation, internal audit techniques, nonconformity management, and the full certification process.
The training methodology combined expert-led lectures, case studies, group exercises, role plays, and mock audits to ensure practical understanding. Pre- and post-training assessments were conducted to measure knowledge transfer.
In his remarks, the CEO of King-Fahji Nig. LTD, Idi Presley commended the participants for their commitment and engagement throughout the week. He noted that the hands-on approach ensured that participants left with not just theory, but tools they can immediately apply in their organizations.
Participants expressed appreciation to NCDMB and King-Fahji Nig. Ltd for the opportunity, describing the training as timely, practical, and impactful. Many said the knowledge gained would help their companies improve quality standards and become more competitive.
As part of the program, all 50 participants received starter packs including a laptop, branded items, training manuals, financial support, and certificates of participation.
