The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has officially implemented the name change of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc to Fortis Global Insurance Plc.
This change follows shareholder approval at the Company’s recently held Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on April 4, 2025, and the issuance of a new certificate of incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
In line with the rebranding, the Company’s ticker name has also been updated from STDINSURE to FTGINSURE.
The name change marks a new chapter in the Company’s corporate identity, reflecting its strategic vision and renewed focus on growth in the insurance sector.
