FG Commences Scholarship Payments for Foreign Students

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the top scorers for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), saying the best candidate scored 375.

JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, who spoke at the 2025 Policy Meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, said Okeke Chinedu Okeke got the highest score with 375 out of 400.

Oloyede said the candidate from Anambra picked the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as his institution of choice and wants to study Mechanical Engineering.

The second highest-scoring person, Ayuba Simon-Peter John, got 374 and hails from Gombe State. The candidate chose Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) with Mechanical Engineering as his choice of course.

Jimoh Olayinka of Kwara State got 373 and had UNILAG as his first choice. He also wants to study Mechanical Engineering as his first choice.

All three top candidates for the 2025 UTME are male.
