A 5-day capacity-building training program on phone repairs, sponsored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has been successfully concluded. The training, conducted by Papi Efe Nig. Ltd., benefited 50 youths.
The program, which ran from February 9th to 13th, aimed to equip young Nigerians with practical skills in phone repair, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial prospects.

Speaking at the conclusion of the training, the CEO of Papi Efe Nig. Ltd., Stanley Umukoro, expressed gratitude to NCDMB for the opportunity to empower the youths. “We’re thrilled to have been part of this initiative, and we’re confident that the skills imparted will open up new avenues for these young people,” he said.

Participants, who received certificates and toolkits, praised NCDMB for the opportunity, saying it had given them a valuable skill to start their own businesses. The training is expected to contribute to the development of Nigeria’s informal sector and promote youth empowerment.
NCDMB’s sponsorship of the training underscores its commitment to building local capacity and promoting economic growth through skills development.
