The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with ELSPAZIO NIG LTD, has successfully completed its 5-day training on Renewable Energy Integration for Oil & Gas Installations for 50 youths in Benin, Edo State.
The training, held from September 28 to October 2, 2026, in Benin City, ended on a high note, with participants expressing gratitude and readiness to apply the skills they learned.
The intensive program exposed beneficiaries to critical areas of energy transition, including solar and hybrid systems for oilfield installations, sustainable energy design, energy efficiency, and integration strategies for reducing carbon footprint in oil and gas operations.
At the closing ceremony, Elspazio Nig Ltd Managing Director, Ms. Stephanie Dare, officially handed over the training and presented it to participants, commending them for their dedication, discipline, and enthusiasm throughout the training period.
She reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting NCDMB’s vision of building local capacity and preparing Nigerian youths for the future of the energy sector.
Participants were full of praise for NCDMB and Elspazio Nig Ltd, describing the training as timely, impactful, and eye-opening, especially at a time when the global oil and gas industry is rapidly embracing cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.
