Cornerstone Insurance Plc has announced adjustments to its Board of Directors, reflecting a shift in its leadership structure.
Mr. Emeka Anthony Ogbechie, who was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on October 21, 2024 (effective from December 31, 2024) and whose appointment was later approved by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) on January 25, 2025, has formally resigned from the Board.
Following his resignation, the company has appointed Mr. Zoe Omonkhogbe as a Non-Executive Director.
His appointment received approval from NAICOM on July 28, 2025, and will be ratified at the company’s next Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Mr. Zoe Omonkhogbe is a seasoned finance executive with over two decades of experience spanning private equity, real estate, and professional services.
Mr. Omonkhogbe currently serves as Executive Director at Capital Alliance Nigeria, where he leads the firm’s finance and tax functions.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, he holds non-executive directorships across multiple companies, contributing deep financial acumen and governance expertise to board-level decision-making.
Mr. Omonkhogbe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Education and earned his MBA as a Welch Scholar from the Jack Welch Management Institute.
Mr. Omonkhogbe is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Treasury Professional, and has completed executive education programs at the London School of Business and Finance and the University of Oxford.
