International Breweries Reshuffles Board, Appoints New Company Secretary

The Board of International Breweries Plc has acknowledged the resignation of Mr. Sunday Akintoye Omole as Non-Executive Director, effective July 31, 2025, and expressed gratitude for his impactful contributions over the years. The Board also approved the appointment of Mrs. Toyin Adeniji as a Non-Executive Director.

Additionally, the Board confirmed the resignation of DCSL Corporate Services Limited as Company Secretary, following its interim service, while appreciating the support it provided during the period.

Effective August 4, 2025, Temitope Oluwatosin has been appointed as the Company Secretary/General Counsel of International Breweries Plc.

About Mrs. Toyin Adeniji

Mrs. Toyin Adeniji is a seasoned finance and development executive with over 28 years of leadership experience spanning banking, development finance, and private sector growth across Africa and globally.

She has held senior positions at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she led strategic initiatives, global partnerships, and innovative financing solutions.

She more recently served as Executive Director at the Bank of Industry, Nigeria, driving transformative programs for SMEs and women-led businesses.

Mrs. Adeniji has served on the boards of leading companies in the manufacturing and financial sectors. Currently, she serves on the board of the Nigerian Aluminium Extrusion Company (NIGALEX), where she leads strategy and growth initiatives.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).

She holds an MBA as well as the Advanced Management Program (AMP) credential from Harvard Business School.

About Mrs. Temitope Oluwatosin

Mrs Temitope Oluwatosin holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2010.

She is a Chartered Secretary and Governance Professional and a member of the Chartered Governance Institute (UK & Ireland).

She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). Before her appointment, Temitope served as Head of Legal (Africa) at PZ Cussons, where she also held the position of Company Secretary to 5 subsidiaries, including HPZ Limited and PZ Wilmar Limited. She previously worked as Legal Counsel at Union Bank of Nigeria Plc.

Temitope brings over 14 years of professional experience spanning the financial services and FMCG sectors. Her expertise includes legal advisory, corporate governance, and risk management.

She has supported strategic business operations within complex multinational environments and brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.
